I discovered today that St. Mary’s Catherdral here in Tokyo holds a monthy organ concert every second Friday of the month. It is called an organ meditation as a priest led a short prayer session — not quite a mass but a reading from the gospel and a short homily, among other prayers, between two performances. The organist was Liuwe Tamminga from the Netherlands. The performances are free, although donations are accepted. It was a nice way to end a busy day and week.
